New project in development: Stories of Urban Ecology

From the Green Stage blog

After a little bit of break, Green Stage is very excited to be developing a new project! Stories of Urban Ecology: Cardiff to Glasgow is a performance installation inspired by stories of urban gardeners. We are delighted to be working again with ecoscenographer Tanja Beer to create a living space using edible plants and herbs. This time, we are inspired by kokedama (the Japanese art of growing in moss without a container). We will be creating a space with a soundscape of stories, from ones we’ve collected to Cardiff to ones will be collecting in Glasgow. We are interested in the resonances and dissonances between the experience of ecology and growing in these two cities. We look forward to sharing more information soon!
